Auditions
Audition Wear:
Girls: classical ballet leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes. Students in the 13-19yrs audition, please also bring pointe shoes if you have them.
Boys: boys' ballet leotard and tights OR unitard, and ballet shoes.
All students should also bring a water bottle. Please ensure hair is done neatly - in a bun for girls, and tied back for any boys with long hair.

You will receive an email within 2 weeks of the auditions to let you know if you were successful.

15th June - Peter Pan Auditions
17th August - Rehearsals begin, headshots taken of all cast
31st August - Promotional photoshoot, principal and soloist cast
29th September - 1st October - Holiday Intensive
Friday 7th November - Tech Rehearsal at The Cube Wodonga
Saturday 8th November - Show #1 at The Cube Wodonga, 7pm
Sunday 9th November - Show #2 at the Cube Wodonga 1:30pm
AWYB Program
The AWYB Team has worked hard to ensure that being a cast member of AWYB's 'Peter Pan', or any future shows, is an incredible experience for young dancers. From the audition process through rehearsals and performances, we give young dancers a professional experience in staging a ballet. Members of AWYB will receive a 'Peter Pan' t-shirt as part of their involvement and have the option to purchase an AWYB jumper. All members receive a professional head-shot, and Principal and Soloist cast members will also have promotional photos taken in costume.
Students' AWYB fees are $350 for the season. This goes towards:

At the end of each AWYB season, 2 students will be awarded a full scholarship for the next season.

Peter Pan Synopsis
The 3 Darling children - Wendy, John and Michael - are visited in their nursery one evening by Peter Pan and his fairy companion Tinker Bell. Peter tells them thrilling tales of Neverland, where children never grow old. The children follow him to this magical land, where they encounter mermaids, fairies, and pirates led by the terrifying Captain Hook!
Performances
Performances will be held at The Cube Wodonga. Tickets will go on sale as part of The Cube's 2025 season launch on the 7th of February.
Saturday 8th November - 7pm Show
Sunday 9th November - 1:30pm Show
The run-time for the performances will be approximately 2 hours, including a 20 minute interval between Acts 1 and 2.
